This is an extension to the Shadows Over Camelot. It was well worth the price I paid. The new cards are wonderful and add a new twist on the game. The black cards are even more deadly to the game and the white cards WOW they are amazing. The graphics and durability are what I have come to enjoy with any of the Days of Wonder games.

It also seems like, despite evil progressing faster in a game with many players, it would be more manageable for both traitor and loyalist alike.
Apr 02, 2013· Shadows over Camelot is a board game for three to seven players in which players take on the role of knights trying to save Camelot. It is a cooperative game; however, one player may be a traitor secretly working to sabotage everyone's efforts.
The premise of Shadows Over Camelot is that you and the other players are facing off against the board, and perhaps one evil traitor that lingers amongst you. Every turn, the board gets a little harder, while the team of players have to band together to try and defeat the five or so mini-games quickly enough to save Camelot.
One thing I can say about Shadows Over Camelot is that it does a very good job of creating the proper feel for the theme. Camelot always stood on a knife's edge, with failure on either side. Arthur was the only thing between Britain and the Dark Ages and when he fell, the darkness consumed civilization. That's how SOC feels.

Shadows Over Camelot is a game that I (dad) first saw in 2006 and immediately got excited about it. It was the first cooperative board game that I had come across – which in and of itself sounded like a great thing for family gaming and a good reason to pick up a copy.
