Honestly, it definitely seems like a Dark Souls game to me and the fact they added a couple of campaigns and a character sheet so you know what items you were using so you can come back to the campaign at any point was a nice addition. After spending all of yesterday reading it I'm even more excited than I was when it was announced.

For the double souls rules to actually work in preserving total souls, you have to round down for a 3 player game. 3 sparks = 4 clears per floor, 1 spark = 2 clears per floor. Similarly, 1 spark isn't harsh at all for a 4 player game - you get 2 clears per floor instead of 3, so you actually end up with more souls.
I keep hearing people are putting together house rules for the store and I'd like to hear them out. I also want to give some ideas regarding items. ideas: Tiles give 1 treasure card the first time you clear them (chest tiles give 2). I feel like this makes the game feel more like a board game.

I've been using it to run a campaign for a few years now. Basically I tweaked ship stats, weapon stats and rules for space to be more in line with the 5e rules.
