For example, I dislike the components/ looks of The Castles of Burgundy, and had not bothered playing it despite its seemingly-good gameplay and awesome reviews from others. The central boards and player boards are thick and high quality, as are all the cardboard chits. The minion worker tokens are wooden and durable like any good worker placement game should be, as well as the tokens for food and gold.

Oh dear, have you updated to the DLC versions of the mods? So easy to install now, so don't be scared to change stuff up. You can get some new hair in the Hair DLC lol and then the only other changes I make are MEHEM and Citadel Endling Lite.Basically you can run the first part of the Citadel DLC whenever you want, story wise I normally do that after Cerberus attacks the Citadel.
All of them can be added together. You can use them one game and skip them another. And none of them ruin the original gameplay in any serious way, but rather just provide you with more choices for actions. It is still Dungeon Lords in spirit and body, the same game you loved enough to bother reading this expansion review.
